Description
The TPS2551QDBVRQ1 is a power distribution switch designed for use in applications where heavy capacitive loads and short circuits are likely to be present. It features a user-adjustable current limit threshold, controlled power-switch rise and fall times, and a constant-current mode to limit the output current. An internal reverse-voltage detection comparator protects devices on the input side of the switch by disabling the power-switch in the event that the output voltage is driven higher than the input. The device also includes a FAULT logic output that asserts low during both overcurrent and reverse-voltage conditions.
