The MAX4427EPA+T is a dual monolithic MOSFET driver designed to translate TTL/CMOS inputs to high voltage/current outputs. It is part of the gate drivers product category. The MAX4427EPA+T is a dual noninverting power MOSFET driver and is an upgrade for the TSC4427. It features a lower on-resistance of 4Ω compared to 7Ω, shorter delay times of tD1 - 10ns compared to 30ns, and tD2 - 25ns compared to 50ns. It has a peak output current of 1.5A and fast rise and fall times of typically 20ns with a 1000pF load. With a wide operating range of 4.5V to 18V, low power consumption of 1.8mA with logic 1 input and 200µA with logic 0 input, and TTL/CMOS compatibility, the MAX4427EPA+T is suitable for various applications such as switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, motor controllers, pin-diode drivers, and charge-pump voltage inverters.
