Description
The DS1211N is a CMOS circuit, specifically designed to convert CMOS RAMs into nonvolatile memories. It solves the problem of converting CMOS RAMs into nonvolatile memories by monitoring the incoming power for an out-of-tolerance condition. When such a condition is detected, the chip enables are inhibited to provide write protection, and the battery is switched on to supply uninterrupted power to the RAMs. The DS1211N uses a low-leakage CMOS process, which allows for precise voltage detection with extremely low battery consumption.
