Description
The VN920B5TR-E is a power distribution switch designed for driving any type of load with one side connected to ground. It is a part of STMicroelectronics™ VIPower™ M0-3 technology and has an active VCC pin voltage clamp to protect it against low energy spikes. The device has active current limitation, thermal shutdown, and automatic restart features to protect it against overload. It also includes an analog current sense output that provides a current proportional to the load current. If the ground pin becomes disconnected, the device automatically turns off.
