Description

The MIC5156BN is a Super Low-Dropout (LDO) Regulator Controller designed for high current low-dropout linear voltage regulation. It features an external N-channel power MOSFET as the linear pass element, providing the advantages of a Super LDO™ Regulator. The dropout voltage of the MIC5156BN is as low as the RDS(ON) of the external power MOSFET multiplied by the output current. It can support an output current as high as the largest MOSFETs can provide.
