Description
The UC3842/3/4/5 family of control ICs is optimized for off-line and DC to DC converters. It provides the necessary features to implement fixed frequency current mode control schemes with a minimal external parts count. This model has a low start-up current of less than 1 mA, automatic feed forward compensation, pulse-by-pulse current limiting, and enhanced load response characteristics. It also has under-voltage lockout with hysteresis, double pulse suppression, high current totem pole output, internally trimmed bandgap reference, and operates at 500 KHz. Additionally, it has a low RO erroramp.
