Description
The MAX891LEUA+ is a smart, low-voltage, P-channel, MOSFET power switch primarily designed for high-side load-switching applications. It has a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V, making it perfect for both 3V and 5V systems. This switch is equipped with internal current-limiting circuitry, which protects the input supply from overload. It also has thermal overload protection, which limits power dissipation and junction temperatures. The MAX891LEUA+ has a maximum current limit of 500mA and is available in an 8-pin µMAX package.
