Description
The IPS1051LPBF is an Intelligent Power Switch (IPS) designed for power distribution switches. It features a low side MOSFET with overcurrent, over-temperature, and ESD protection, as well as a drain to source active clamp. The IPS1051LPBF is a single channel device and offers high reliability in harsh environments. It provides efficient protection by turning off the power MOSFET when the temperature exceeds 165°C or when the drain current reaches 3A. It restarts once the input is cycled. The IPS1051LPBF also has a diagnostic feature with a serial resistance connected to the input. It enhances avalanche capability with the active clamp and covers most inductive load demagnetizations.
