Description
The HCPL-316J-500E is an optocoupler designed for driving power IGBTs and MOSFETs, which are typically used in motor control inverter applications. Its integrated circuit contains a power output stage that is optically coupled to an LED. This optocoupler is an excellent choice for applications where high operating voltage range of the output stage is required to provide the voltage levels needed by gate-controlled devices.
