    The STK14CA8-NF25I is a fast static RAM with a nonvolatile element in each memory cell. It incorporates Simtek's QuantumTrap TM technology, making it the world's most reliable nonvolatile memory. This SRAM provides unlimited read and write cycles, while storing independent data in the QuantumTrap TM cell. Data transfers from the SRAM to the nonvolatile elements occur automatically during power down, and data is restored to the SRAM during power up. Both the STORE and RECALL operations can also be controlled via software.
