The DS1225Y is a type of nonvolatile SRAM used as a memory component. It has a capacity of 64k, which is organized into 8192 words by 8 bits. This model has a self-contained lithium energy source and control circuitry that constantly monitors the voltage input for any out-of-tolerance condition to avoid data corruption during power loss.
