Electronic Component Model: SMAJ5.0-E3 is a low profile package TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) component. It is designed for automated placement and has a glass passivated chip junction. This component is available in both uni-directional and bi-directional models. It has a peak pulse power capability of 400 W with a 10/1000 µs waveform, and a repetitive rate (duty cycle) of 0.01% (300 W above 78 V). The SMAJ5.0-E3 provides excellent clamping capability, very fast response time, and low incremental surge resistance. It meets MSL level 1 standards, per J-STD-020, with a LF maximum peak of 260 °C. The component is also compliant with RoHS 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC regulations.Specifications and features
