Description
The RCLAMP0524P is an ultra low capacitance TVS array designed to protect high-speed data interfaces. It is part of the RailClamp® series, which is specifically created to safeguard sensitive components linked to high-speed data and transmission lines from overvoltage produced by ESD (electrostatic discharge), CDE (cable discharge events), and EFT (electronic fault tolerance) (electrical fast transients). It is intended for use in situations where board space is limited. Each device takes up less than 2.9mm2 of PCB space and protects two high-speed data lines.

- Transient protection for high-speed data lines to IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD) ±15kV (air), ±8kV (contact) and IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) 40A (5/50ns)
- Low operating voltage: 5.0V
- Low leakage current and clamping voltage
- Protects up to two I/O lines & power line
- Low capacitance (<0.9pF) for high-speed interfaces
- Ultra-small package requires less than 2.9mm2 of PCB area
- Solid-state silicon-avalanche technology
- Flow-through design for ease of layout for high-speed data line application
