It is a non-volatile memory that allows for the serial or quad-serial configuration of devices that support active serial (AS) x1 or AS x4 configuration schemes. This component is available in 8- and 16-pin small-outline integrated circuit (SOIC) packages and operates between 2.7V and 3.6V.
