Electronic Component Model: CAT9534YI-G is an I/O expander with an I2C interface. It is designed for LED dimming and blinking applications. This component supports up to 16 LEDs and provides 256 discrete brightness steps for easy LED dimming and color mixing. Additionally, it eliminates repeated commands to turn on/off LEDs, reducing I2C traffic. The CAT9534YI-G can be individually programmed to turn on, off, or blink each LED port. It also has a built-in noise filter for SDA/SCL inputs and supports clock frequencies up to 400KHz.
