The CS82C55AZ is a high-performance CMOS version of the industry-standard 8255A I/O expander. It features 24 programmable I/O pins that can be individually programmed in 2 groups of 12 and used in 3 major modes of operation. This device is compatible with many different microprocessors, including the 80C86, 80C88, and others, making it a versatile and useful component for a variety of applications.
