The BCM5421KPF is a fully integrated 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet transceiver designed for use in electronic devices. This electronic component is compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, and 802.3ab standards and features on-chip low-voltage regulators and Wake on LAN support. Additionally, the BCM5421KPF has a low power consumption of 1W per port and supports advanced power management to reduce power usage. It also has a cable plant diagnostic feature that detects cable plant impairments and a link quality indication LED. With automatic detection and correction of wiring pair swaps, pair skew, and pair polarity, it has an efficient design. The BCM5421KPF transceiver supports MII, GMII, TBI, RGMII, and RTBI interface options.
