    The MAX468CPE is part of the MAX463-MAX470 series of electronic components. It is a two-channel, triple/quad buffered video switch and video buffer that combines high-accuracy, unity-gain-stable amplifiers with high-performance video switches. This component is ideal for various video applications due to its fast switching time, low differential gain and phase error. The MAX468CPE operates with a ±5V supply and can drive inputs and outputs as high as ±2.5V when driving 150Ω loads (75Ω back-terminated cable).

    Specifications and features

    The MAX468CPE features a unity-gain bandwidth of 100MHz (90MHz with 2V/V gain) and a low differential gain/phase error of 0.01%/0.03°. It can directly drive 50Ω and 75Ω back-terminated cables and has a wide output swing of ±2V into 75Ω and ±2.5V into 150Ω. The on-board amplifiers have a 200V/µs slew rate (300V/µs for AV = 2V/V amplifiers) and a fast channel switching time of only 20ns. Additionally, it has a logic disable mode for high-Z outputs and reduced power consumption. The input capacitance is only 5pF and channel-to-channel crosstalk is better than 60dB.
