Description
The S6B0715A11-B0CZ is a driver and controller LSI designed for graphic dot-matrix liquid crystal display systems. It features 33 common and 100 segment driver circuits and can be directly connected to a microprocessor. The chip accepts serial or 8-bit parallel display data and has an on-chip display data RAM of 65 x 132 bits. This allows for a highly-flexible display section with a 1-to-1 correspondence between the on-chip display data RAM bits and LCD panel pixels. The S6B0715A11-B0CZ also has power supply circuits necessary to drive the liquid crystal, making it possible to create a display system with minimal components.
