Description
The MIC38HC44-1BN is an AC/DC converter and offline switcher that belongs to the MIC38HC4x family, which are fixed frequency current-mode PWM controllers with 1A drive current capability. They are high-performance, low-power BiCMOS devices and the pin-compatibility feature with 384x bipolar devices. This controller offers excellent efficiency where high-quality PWM control and low-power consumption are essential. It features fast rise and fall times, combined with low startup current, which make it an ideal choice when high efficiency is required. Additionally, its built-in undervoltage lockout circuitry allows the '42 and '44 versions to operate down to 9V and start up at 14.5V.
