Description

The RS5RJ series is a step-up DC/DC converter IC equipped with a voltage regulator (VR) and a voltage detector (VD) by CMOS process. It consists of a VFM DC/DC converter, a linear regulator, and a voltage detector. This IC is an output-voltage-fixed type regulator that functions as a linear regulator when the input voltage is high, and as a step-up DC/DC converter + linear regulator when the input voltage is low. It is designed for battery-powered and handheld instruments, with the ability to minimize standby current through the chip enable function. The built-in voltage detector allows for monitoring of potentials such as the output voltage of the DC/DC converters.
