The SP204CP is a multi-channel RS-232 line transceiver in a compact form. It is a part of the SP200 Series which offers various configurations to meet different communication needs. This model, along with others in the series, features low-power CMOS construction and a patented on-board charge pump circuitry that generates ±10V RS-232 voltage levels. It utilizes 0.1µF charge pump capacitors, saving board space and reducing circuit cost. The SP204CP also has a low-power shutdown mode that reduces power supply drain to 1µA. Additionally, it includes a WakeUp function to keep the receivers active in the shutdown mode.
