Brief Description
The SG2845M is a DC DC switching controller that belongs to the SG1844/45 family of control ICs. It is designed for implementing off-line fixed frequency, current-mode switching power supplies with a minimal number of external components. This controller features a current-mode architecture that offers improved line regulation, load regulation, pulse-by-pulse current limiting, and inherent protection for the power supply output switch. With a trimmed bandgap reference and oscillator discharge current, the SG2845M achieves accurate and stable performance. It also has undervoltage lockout, current-limiting circuitry, and a low start-up current of less than 1mA. The totem-pole output is optimized for driving the gate of a power MOSFET.
