Description
The PCA9557BS is an I/O expander designed for use in SMBus and I2C-bus applications. It has an 8-bit input port register, 8-bit output port register, and an I2C-bus/SMBus interface. The module offers a high impedance open-drain output pin and configurable input/output by writing to the configuration register. The PCA9557BS has low current consumption, noise filter on SCL/SDA inputs, power-on reset, and active LOW reset input. Its operating voltage range is from 2.3 V to 5.5 V and supports 0 kHz to 400 kHz clock frequency. The module is available in SO16, TSSOP16, HVQFN16 packages.
