Description
Maxwell Technologies's radiation-hardened operational amplifiers, model RPF57714B#TB, are designed for space missions. These amplifiers feature a total dose tolerance of greater than 100 krad (Si), making them suitable for use in harsh radiation environments. The 124 amplifiers are internally frequency compensated and can operate from a single power supply over a wide range of voltages. They can also be powered by split power supplies. The low power supply current drain is independent of the power supply voltage. Maxwell Technologies's patented RAD-PAK packaging technology provides radiation shielding for the microcircuit package, eliminating the need for additional box shielding. This packaging technology enables the 124 amplifiers to have a lifetime tolerance of greater than 100 krad (Si) radiation dose in a GEO orbit. The RPF57714B#TB model is available with screening up to Class S.
