The Texas Instruments UCC28083D is an integrated supply-voltage supervisor IC that features an internal voltage regulator and an integrated CMOS-based Power-On Reset (POR) circuit. The IC is capable of supplying up to 8 A of continuous current and provides several user-programmable reset trigger levels. Its wide range of reset trigger levels includes full power-on, manual reset, low voltage, and high temperature. The IC is available in two packages, 5-lead TSOP-6 with a 0.98 x 0.98 mm2 outline and 6-lead VSSOP-8 with a 0.50 x 1.95 mm2 outline. The UCC28083D also features an optocoupler output for user- configurable reset delays and an integrated power switch for manual reset control. With a wide operating temperature range, the UCC28083D is ideal for industrial and automotive applications.
