Description
The SERC816-LF is a single-chip controller for SERCOS interface communication systems. It is designed for the synchronous operation of distributed control or test equipment, allowing for the exchange of information cyclically at short, fixed intervals. This integrated circuit offers real-time communication for industrial control systems and supports data communications via optical fiber rings, RS 485 rings, and RS 485 busses. With a maximum transmission rate of 16 Mbaud and internal clock recovery, it provides reliable and efficient communication. The SERC816-LF also features a dual-port RAM with a flexible configuration for storing communication data. It comes in a 100-pin plastic flat-pack casing.
