The 24LC16B is a 16 Kbit Electrically Erasable PROM from Microchip Technology that falls under the Memory product category. It comes with eight blocks of 256 x 8-bit memory making it unique, plus it has a 2-wire serial interface, page write capability, and low-voltage design that permits operation down to 1.7V with standby and active currents of only 1A and 1mA, respectively. It is available in different packages that include SOIC, PDIP, TSSOP, MSOP, DFN, TDFN, SOT-23, and Chip Scale.
