The FQPF9N50C is a Field Effect Tube (MOSFET) electronic component model which is produced using Fairchild’s proprietary, planar stripe, DMOS technology. These transistors are specially designed to minimize on-state resistance, provide superior switching performance and withstand high energy pulse. They are well-suited for high-efficiency switched-mode power supplies, active power factor correction, and electronic lamp ballasts based on the half-bridge topology.
