Description
The PCF8574TDK-T is an electronic component model in the category of I/O Expanders. It is a silicon CMOS circuit that provides general-purpose remote I/O expansion for most microcontroller families through the two-line bidirectional bus (I2C-bus). The device consists of an 8-bit quasi-bidirectional port and an I2C-bus interface. The PCF8574TDK-T also has an interrupt line (INT) that can be connected to the interrupt logic of the microcontroller, allowing the remote I/O to inform the microcontroller of incoming data on its ports without communicating via the I2C-bus. It is a simple slave device. The PCF8574TDK-T and PCF8574A versions differ only in their slave address.
