Description
The MX25L512MI-12G is a CMOS 524,288-bit serial Flash memory coded as 65,536 x 8 internally and categorized under IC Chips. It features a serial peripheral interface and software protocol for operation on a simple 3-wire bus. The SPI access to the device is enabled by CS# input for high flexibility and ease of interface. The device provides sequential read operation on the entire chip for efficient and speedy access without wastage of time. A status register is included that detects completion status of a program or erase operation via WIP bit for precision and accuracy.
Specifications and features
The MX25L512MI-12G is compatible with Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) in mode 0 and mode 3. The device has a 524,288 x 1-bit structure with 32 equal sectors of 4K byte each that can be erased individually. It has 2 Equal Blocks with 64K byte each; any block can be erased individually, making it a highly versatile model. It is a single power supply operation chip with a voltage range of 2.7 to 3.6 volts for read, erase, and program operations. Low Vcc write inhibit is from 1.5V to 2.5V, making sure that the device remains unaffected even during voltage fluctuations. It is latch-up protected to 100mA from -1V to Vcc +1V, which ensures a longer life cycle of the device.
