Description
The ICE2B0565 is the second generation CoolSET™-F2, designed to provide low power standby and protection features. It offers several special enhancements, including frequency reduction in standby mode to lower power consumption and maintain a stable output voltage. The frequency reduction is limited to 20kHz/21.5kHz to avoid audible noise. In case of failure modes like open loop, overvoltage, or overload due to short circuit, the device switches into Auto Restart Mode, controlled by the internal protection unit. The ICE2B0565 also features precise peak current limitation, allowing for smaller transformer and secondary diode dimensions and overall cost-effectiveness.
