Description

The AERO4210HN is a synchronous buck regulator designed for use in portable applications that use a Li-Ion or 3 cell alkaline/NiCD/NiMH input. It features a proprietary control loop, 20µA light load quiescent current, and 0.3Ω power switches, making it highly efficient across a wide range of output currents. The device can seamlessly transition into 100% duty ratio operation as the input battery supply decreases towards the output voltage, thereby extending the useful battery life. Additionally, the AERO4210HN has a precise inductor peak current limit, along with overload and short circuit protection features. It also comes with programmable under voltage lockout and low battery detection, externally programmed output voltage down to 1.0V, logic level shutdown control, and 140°C over temperature shutdown capabilities.
