The 74LVC1T45GM is a single-bit, dual supply voltage translator or level shifter product category. It has a 3-state output that enables bidirectional level translation, features one data input/output port (A and B), a direction control input (DIR), and dual supply pins (VCC(A) and VCC(B)). Both VCC(A) and VCC(B) can be supplied at any voltage between 1.2V and 5.5V, which makes the device suitable for translating between any of the low-voltage nodes.
Specifications and features
The device is fully specified for partial power-down applications using IOFF. The IOFF circuitry disables the output, preventing any damaging backflow current through the device when it is powered down. In suspend mode, when either VCC(A) or VCC(B) is at a ground level, both the Port A and Port B are in the high-impedance OFF-state. The 74LVCH1T45 holds unused or floating data inputs at a valid logic level, thanks to the active bus hold circuitry.
The 74LVC1T45GM has a wide supply voltage range of VCC(A) and VCC(B): 1.2 V to 5.5 V. The device has high noise immunity and is compliant with JESDEC standards, including JESD8-7, JESD8-5, JESD8C, and JESD36. The device also has ESD protection, with HBM JESD22-A114E Class 3A exceeding 4000V and CDM JESD22-C101C exceeding 1000V.
This product has a maximum data rate of 420Mbps (3.3V to 5.0V translation), 210Mbps (translate to 3.3V), 140Mbps (translate to 2.5V), 75Mbps (translate to 1.8V), and 60Mbps (translate to 1.5V). It also has a suspend mode, latch-up performance that exceeds 100mA per JESD78 Class II, ±24mA output drive (VCC=3.0V), and low power consumption at a maximum of 16μA ICC. The device provides partial power-down mode operation using IOFF circuitry, has multiple package options, and is specified from -40°C to +85°C and -40°C to +125°C.
