Description

The PCA9555D-T is a 24-pin CMOS device that provides 16 bits of General Purpose parallel Input/Output (GPIO) expansion for I2C/SMBus applications. It is a part of the Philips family of IC I/O expanders and is designed to enhance and improve the previous models. The PCA9555D-T offers higher drive capability, 5V I/O tolerance, lower supply current, individual I/O configuration, and smaller packaging. This I/O expander is ideal for adding additional I/O for ACPI power switches, sensors, pushbuttons, LEDs, fans, and more.
