Description

The MAX8744ETJ+TG51 is a dual step-down, switchmode, power-supply (SMPS) controller with synchronous rectification. It is designed for main 5V/3.3V power generation in battery-powered systems. The controller operates at a fixed frequency with optimal interleaving, minimizing input ripple current. It has an input range of 6V to 26V and provides a 2V ±0.75% reference output. The MAX8744ETJ+TG51 also features undervoltage, thermal-fault, and overvoltage-fault protections. It has independent enable inputs and power-good outputs, as well as soft-start and soft-shutdown capabilities. The shutdown current is typically 8µA.
