Description
The R1160N321B-TR is a voltage regulator IC with high output voltage accuracy, low supply current, and low ON-resistance. It consists of a voltage reference unit, an error amplifier, resistors for setting output voltage, a current limit circuit, and a chip enable circuit. This IC performs with low dropout voltage and a chip enable function. To prevent the destruction by over current, a current limit circuit is included. The R1160N321B-TR has 3-modes. One is standby mode with CE or standby control pin. The other two modes are realized with ECO pin. Fast Transient Mode (FT mode) and Low Power Mode (LP mode) are alternative with ECO pin. The output voltage of these ICs is internally fixed with high accuracy, and it can be used in precision voltage references, power sources for electrical appliances such as cameras, VCRs, and hand-held communication equipment, power sources for battery-powered equipment, and many more.
