Description
The REF191G is a precision band gap voltage reference that belongs to the REF19x series. It utilizes a patented temperature drift curvature correction circuit and laser trimming of highly stable, thin-film resistors. This design allows the REF191G to achieve a very low temperature coefficient and high initial accuracy.
With its micropower and low dropout voltage (LDV) features, the REF191G provides a stable output voltage even from supplies as low as 100 mV above the output voltage. It consumes less than 45 μA of supply current and has a sleep mode that can be enabled by applying a low TTL or CMOS level to the SLEEP pin. In sleep mode, the output is turned off, and the supply current is further reduced to less than 15 μA.
The REF191G is specified over the extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C for various applications, including automotive. It is available in an 8-lead SOIC package, while the PDIP and TSSOP packages are only available in the lowest electrical grade.
