Description
The FDC8884 is an electronic component model in the field effect tube (MOSFET) category. It is an enhanced version of the FDC87W22 and integrates various features such as a disk drive adapter, serial port (UART), IrDA 1.0 SIR, parallel port, IDE interface, and configurable plug-and-play registers for the whole chip. Additionally, it adds powerful features like IrDA 1.1 (MIR for 1.152 Mbps or FIR for 4 Mbps) and TV remote IR. The FDC8884 is also pin-to-pin compatible with the FDC87W22.
