Description
The ST232EC is a 2 driver 2 receiver device designed for RS-232 and V.28 communications in harsh environments. It offers protection against ± 15 kV electrostatic discharge (ESD) shocks for each transmitter output and receiver input. With its compatibility with EIA/TIA-232E and CCITT V.28 specifications, it can achieve data rates up to 230kbps. The ST232EC operates with a single 5 V supply voltage.
