The P487A06 is a low-power quad differential line driver that meets RS-485 and RS-422 standards. It is available in both 16-pin plastic DIP and SOIC packages. This component features a common driver enable control (SP486) or independent driver enable controls for each pair of drivers (SP487). The driver propagation delays are typically 40ns, with a skew of 5ns. It has a wide common-mode input range of -7V to +12V and a supply current of 100µA. The P487A06 is pin compatible with SN75172, SN75174, LTC486, and LTC487.
