Description
The M2012S3A2G13 is a toggle switch manufactured by NKK. It features an antirotation design, which is standard on noncylindrical levers. The toggle and bushing connection is ensured with two flatted sides on the bottom of the toggle fitting into a corresponding opening in the bushing.
Additionally, the switch has an antijamming design that protects the contacts from damage caused by excessive downward force on the actuator. The high torque bushing construction prevents rotation or separation from the frame during installation.
The M2012S3A2G13 also has high insulating barriers that increase isolation of circuits in multipole devices and provide extra protection to contact points. The case is made of molded diallyl phthalate and has a UL flammability rating of 94V-0.
Epoxy sealed terminals are used to prevent the entry of solder flux and other contaminants. The switch also has prominent external insulating barriers that further increase insulation resistance and dielectric strength.
Switch failure due to biased lever movement is prevented by the interlocked actuator block, lever, and interior guide. The frame is clinched well above the base and terminals, providing a dielectric strength of 1,500V.
