Description

The SD6906, also known as the Aeroflex Plainview CT1820 Bit Processor Unit (BPU), is a hybrid microcircuit that serves as an interface between a MIL-STD-1553 Transceiver and the subsystem internal parallel data bus. Its main purpose is to provide a common interface for all systems communicating over the bus, allowing it to function as the mux bus interface for Remote Subsystems or Master Terminal Bus Controllers.
