AK8929C-L is a 3-axis electronic compass IC with high sensitive Hall sensor technology. It is specifically designed for compass applications, featuring compact size and thin package. With its magnetic sensors and sensor driving circuit, it can detect terrestrial magnetism in the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis. The IC also includes a signal amplifier chain and an arithmetic circuit for signal processing. It is commonly used in GPS-equipped cell phones for map heading up and pedestrian navigation functions.
