The ML4654CP is a single chip cable line driver/receiver that provides all the functions required to implement both an internal and external IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T Medium Attachment Unit (MAU). It provides complete implementation of IEEE 802.3 standards and offers an AU interface for use in an external or internal MAU. This component can drive 100Ω unshielded twisted pair cable or 150Ω shielded twisted pair cable. It offers automatic polarity correction and on-chip Jabber logic, Link Test, and SQE test with enable/disable options.
