Introducing TNY266GN, an enhanced and energy-efficient low power offline switcher in the AC DC converters' product category. This model is known as the TinySwitch-II, which integrates a 700V power MOSFET, oscillator, high voltage switched current source, current limit, and thermal shutdown circuitry onto a monolithic device. The startup and operating power are derived directly from the voltage on the DRAIN pin, eliminating the need for bias winding and associated circuitry. Featuring a fully integrated auto-restart circuit, this model safely limits the output power during fault conditions, which reduces component count and secondary feedback circuitry costs.
