Description

Electronic Component Model: PM4314-PI is an integrated circuit chip that combines four duplex DSX-1 or CEPT E1 compatible line interface circuits into a single monolithic device. It provides clock recovery and line performance monitoring in the receivers and jitter attenuation and programmable line build out in the transmitters. This model utilizes digital phase-locked loops for receive and transmit clock derivation without the use of tuned circuits. It also provides an integrated 8X clock multiplier for the generation of required high-speed clocks and optionally inserts Alarm Indication Signal (AIS) when loopback modes are enabled. PM4314-PI has a generic microprocessor interface for initial configuration, ongoing control, and status monitoring. It can generate an interrupt upon the detection of various alarms, events, or changes in status. This model also offers optional hardware programmed mode for external configuration when microprocessor access is not available. PM4314-PI comes in a 128-pin (14mm x 20mm) PQFP package.
