Description
The SC4614 is a high-speed, voltage mode PWM controller that provides the control and protection features necessary for a synchronous buck converter. It is designed to directly drive the top and bottom MOSFETs of the buck converter, allowing it to operate at a 500kHz switching frequency with a power rail ranging from 4V to 25V and an output voltage as low as 0.5V. The SC4614 utilizes an internal 8.2V supply for gate drive voltage, minimizing power loss and MOSFET switching loss.
