Description

The SI7402DN-T1-E3 is a field effect tube (MOSFET) electronic component model. It is a monolithic controller used to drive a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) for stabilizing the temperature of a laser diode or a passive component in telecommunications equipment. This component relies on a negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistor to sense the temperature of the attached object. The target temperature can be set with an analog input voltage from a DAC or an external resistor divider. The PID compensation amplifier with high stability and low noise ensures the stability of the temperature control loop. The compensation network can be adjusted by the user to optimize temperature settling time, and the component values can be calculated based on the thermal transfer function or obtained from the provided lookup table in the Application Notes section. Voltage outputs are available for monitoring the object temperature and the TEC voltage, and a voltage reference of 2.5 V is provided as well.
