Description
The NCP1207ADR2 is an electronic component model that falls under the category of AC DC Converters and Offline Switchers. It is designed to combine a true current mode modulator and a demagnetization detector, ensuring full borderline/critical Conduction Mode in any load/line conditions and minimum drain voltage switching (Quasi-Resonant operation).
This model is equipped with a skip cycle capability, which allows the controller to enter burst mode as soon as the power demand falls below a predetermined level. This results in low peak current and eliminates audible noise. Additionally, it features an internal timer that prevents the free-run frequency from exceeding 100 kHz, meeting the CISPR-22 EMI starting limit. The skip adjustment capability allows the user to select the frequency at which the burst foldback takes place.
